We recommend keeping a single consistent thickness of artificial grass within a given area. Different styles and thicknessess can have colour variations that may clash and spoil the overall finish of your lawn.

Yes! Provided that you choose a suitable range, artificial grass is perfectly safe for both children and pets. Softer, well-cushioned grasses are ideal for kids who like to play outside regularly. Any mess made by animals can be picked up in the usual way and washed off easily with warm water.

Sometimes weeds and plants can poke up through the membrane beneath your artificial grass, particularly if it’s not fitted properly. We recommend treating the area thoroughly with weed killer before you lay the artificial grass, and then twice a year after that.

The easiest way is to measure the width and length of the area you want to cover with artificial grass, multiply them together and write your measurements down. Make sure you use the widest and longest points of the area. It’s better to buy too much and cut bits away rather than having to buy more you need to stick together.

If you need more than one piece of grass to be joined together, let us know when you order, and we’ll do our best to match them by cutting from the same roll.

Due to naturally occurring pigment variations between batches, we are unable to guarantee that rolls will be an exact match.

If you're not confident about fitting your grass, we'd suggest finding a local fitter who can help. Organisations such as the British Association of Landscape Industries might come in handy for this.

Most artificial grass has a porous backing and will drain naturally, but it’s worth preparing the surface under your artificial grass properly beforehand. Our installation guide provides further information on how to approach this.

All artificial grass ranges will fade eventually, but very gradually. The good news is that all of our ranges are UV stabilised, with a minumum 5 year guarantee to keep their vibrant colour in all weather conditions.

If a payment is refused, this could be because your card issuer has stopped it. Occasionally, it might be down to our own security checks.

We use Shopify Payments (Shop Pay) as our payment provider and platform, so you can be confident that all payments made through our site are fully secure.

We’ll start processing your order as soon as you confirm it and your payment provider accepts it. However, transactions can sometimes take a few days to show up in your account.
